Student Check-Out Procedures
- Any PK-12 student that requests to check out a device and submitted a Mobile Device Agreement must be permitted to check out a device unless there are multiple financial obligations from previous checkouts.
- Check outs may begin prior to the start of the school year on Monday, August 8, 2022.
- Check outs should be completed no later than Friday, September 6, 2022.
- Students who checked out devices for summer school may retain the same device for the 2021-2022 school year if they pay the appropriate fee or purchase insurance. Devices must be physically inspected for students to keep the same checkouts as the summer.
- All check outs must reflect a date of June 6, 2022, or later.
- The Mobile Device Agreement field in the DSIS PF8 screen was reset during rollover. Parents must submit a new agreement after rollover, which will update the field in DSIS.
- The Mobile Device Agreement in the parent portal has been updated.
- Paper forms are available at https://digital.dadeschools.net/#!/fullWidth/4799 for parents without a portal account.
- Registrars must update the Mobile Device Agreement field on the PF8 screen if the student submits a paper form.
- There is a tiered technology fee for student checkouts based on the free/reduced lunch status (currently applicable to students in Grades PK-12).
- Free $5.00
- Reduced $10.00
- All Others $20.00
- Technology fees are waived for students who purchase insurance through Securranty.

DSP/ATMS Users
- Asset Tracking Management System (ATMS) Users and Designated Site Persons (DSPs) are identified by the principal.
- 2021-22 DSPs and ATMS users will continue to have access to the Microsoft Mobile Device DSPs Team and ATMS, respectively, unless changed by the Principal. No action is needed if there are no changes; however, principals are encouraged to review the staff members assigned as the DSP and ATMS Users.
- DSPs do not receive automatic access to ATMS; they must be specifically identified as an ATMS Level 1 or Level 2 user to receive access.
- See attached for DSP and ATMS User responsibilities.
- Principals may view their DSP and ATMS users or make changes through the DSP and ATMS Users Verification link at https://digital.dadeschools.net/#!/fullWidth/4820.
- There is a limit of one (1) DSP and two (2) ATMS Level 2 users per location. Principals may identify as many Level 1 users as needed.
- Allow 2 business days for processing and access.
Asset Tracking Management System Future
