The parents and community of Hialeah Elementary School have elected and adopted a mandatory school uniform policy. It consists of a baby blue polo top and navy blue bottoms: pants, bermuda shorts, skirts or skorts to the knees.
Closed shoes, preferably sneakers are accepted. No open-toed shoes are allowed for safety purposes. Sneakers are highly recommended at all times.
Leggings or tights can be used under skirts or pants only under 60-degree weather. Skirts are to be no shorter than and 1 to 2 inches above the knee. Each child should have a belt and maintain their shirts tucked in to maintain a clean and proper appearance.
